About Us

Our goal is to provide every student the resources and support they need to thrive, making the most of their time in college and setting them up for long-term well-being in body, mind, and spirit.

Challenges Students Face

By the time a student arrives on campus, they've already devoted years of hard work and dedication to realizing that goal. They and their families have made a lot of sacrifices, and continue to sacrifice to meet the rising costs of higher education. Even so, outside factors influence whether students make it through college, whether they merely survive the experience, or whether they THRIVE on campus.

  • Every day, students go without adequate food and shelter so that they can pay tuition and fees - even at the best schools in the country. When anyone's basic needs aren't met, it impedes learning by making concentration, memory, and creativity more difficult.

  • Students are at a pivotal point in development as they forge their adult identities, exploring different values and belief systems to define what feels true and authentic. When there are guided opportunities for them to do this inner work, it benefits them both inside and outside the classroom.

  • When students feel alone in an unfamiliar environment, experience imposter syndrome or a sense of inadequacy in comparison to peers, and uncertainty about the future, it can lead to long-term mental health challenges and self-doubt. Simple steps to address these risk factors make a big difference.

On the other hand, when students find belonging, connect with meaning and purpose that solidify a positive sense of self, foster skills for the future, and don't have to worry about their basic needs in the process, they can not only survive the college years, but THRIVE.
