Connecting with a sense of purpose makes it easier to get through stress and difficulty

Research led by Cornell professor Anthony L. Burrow demonstrates how beneficial a sense of purpose can be in navigating the stresses and challenges of life. Even briefly reflecting on purpose makes a difference.
Helping young adults connect with and strengthen their sense of purpose can be helpful in the short term, by making them more resilient to the challenges they face in higher education, and throughout their lives after graduation.
